Selihot Start for Sepharadim

Sephardic Jews start reciting Selihot tomorrow morning.  To honor the occasion and to get us all in the Elul mood, here are links to posts that I posted 3 years ago that link to various piyutim which we have a custom to recite during the days of Selihot and during Rosh Hashana and Kippur:

Hodesh tov, Rav Yaakov.

Like you, I am a half-Sepharadi, half-Ashkenazi, (almost) Haredi Zionist (more like "hardal" in my case). Since I never had the opportunity to partake in Jewish education as a child, I'm making up for it now as best I can.

With this I thank you heartily for your annual sharing of Sepharadi piyutim with us!
