Read between the lines. He is very worried. I am also.
Quoting end of Rabbi Winston's comments:"It will add a whole new dimension, and a scary one at that, to the idea that God punishes measure-for-measure. And, while you ponder just what that statement is supposed to mean, answer the question: If the Jewish people had never questioned God’s Divine Providence back in Parashat Beshallach, would Amalek ever have attacked? The answer to that question will imply much regarding our present-day situation, whether or not we have to be concerned about where things are heading. "
Have any of you noticed the appearance of this comet, they say its getting brighter and brighter:
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,243265,00.html
article says:
NASA astronomer Tony Phillips says Comet McNaught is the brightest comet visible from Earth in 30 years. It is six times brighter than Hale-Bopp in 1997, and 100 times brighter than Halley's Comet when it appeared in 1986, Phillips told The Associated Press on Thursday.
"It will remain a spectacular comet for weeks, perhaps months, in the Southern Hemisphere," Phillips said. "It could emerge as the brightest comet in recorded history.”
I feel this comet is a sign from Hashem, we need to get our "act" together quickly. Especially, as Bush has 2 years left in office. He more than likely wouldn't strike Iran, once the 2008 presidential race heats up.
