The Pasuk in Daniel says:

חָזֵה הֲוֵית עַד דִּי קְטִילַת חֵיוְתָא, וְהוּבַד גִּשְׁמַהּ, וִיהִיבַת, לִיקֵדַת אֶשָּׁא.

I beheld even till the beast was slain, and its body destroyed, and it was given to be burned with fire.
