Abdullah-Obama Meeting - As Foretold
Arutz Sheva:
United States President Barack Obama and Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah met on Tuesday and both voiced "strong support" for international efforts to curb Iran's nuclear program, which Israel and the West claims actually masks a secret drive to develop the capability for an atomic bomb.
Obama and the King also expressed strong hopes for progress in pressuring the government of Israel to surrender Judea, Samaria and most of Jerusalem to the American-backed Palestinian Authority.
Pesikta Rabbati:
Ribbi Yitzhak said: The year that the King Mashiah will be revealed, all the kings of the nations will be stirring up conflicts with each other. The king of Persia will stir up conflicts with the king of Arabia. And the king of Arabia will go to Edom to get advice from them. And the king of Persia will, in turn, destroy the entire world...

"Entire world" sounds drastic and misunderstood. Perhaps a change of course is possible with preventive measures? Will a loving and just G-d allow such a self-destructive final act of genocide?

Torah code: "Atomic Iran 5770; Magog; Islam..." Pinlight.com
Tisha b'av spelled in Hebrew can also read "5770 in Av", or even, "Av 2, 5770". I'm not trying to pinpoint a date, but I think it's worth noting the observation.
so rav eliezer berland said in av
5770 world war iran
I removed all the Meshichist comments and the responses to them.
Such views are not tolerated on my blog.
The people who expressed them are still welcome to comment on my blog as long as these views are not promoted.
I will note what Yitzik said - that the Lubavitcher Rebbe said in 1991 that Saddam Hussein was the Persian king from this Midrash.
Gee Yaak, I thought you had some good traffic going on there. Fun to stir it up a bit.
With your last comment, the King Mashiach will be revealed. Can you elaborate on this.
Why spoil all the fun?
Shiloh is right.
What about freedom of speech?
Anonymous 5:29 PM,
It's called תשעה באב - not תשע באב. According to this, 2 Av, 5775 is significant.
Shiloh,
What do you need elaboration on?
Shiloh and Doudou,
My blog is like my house. I don't allow freedom of speech in my house. If you want to talk in my house, you need to follow my rules - you can't just say anything.
Yaak, relax a bit, I was just kidding you. We have bigger things to be concerned about then whether or not the Rebbe is it. It's such a waste of time really.
To clarify, is how is he to be revealed?
Shabbat Shalom
There are various midrashim that talk about how he is to be revealed. That's a long discussion, but not for now. The simplest answer I can give you is "I don't know."
tisha with a "H" spells 5000 of the year 770. not 775. in hebrew theres always rearranging with letters...
Aha, I see.
Still, it could also be read the other way, which would make it fully in order.
But, I'll accept your explanation.
Deleting a Jew's comment is not such a good idea. I am sure a Jew says what he says for a good reason. And one may even offer a counter-argument if one disagrees.
But, to completely delete a Jew's comment is not the way of a Ben Torah.
Hefer, it's called control. See who from the Torah loves control. Hint: we tried to get away from them, haShem warned Moshe, Moshe disregarded His advise.
But in Yaak's defense, it is his blog.
Hefer,
I'm actually one of the more liberal bloggers out there as far as comments go. Most of them moderate the comments and most won't even see the light of day.
Let me ask you - would you let Howard Stern, a Jew, comment on your blog? How about Noam Chomsky, a Jew? How about Norman Finkelstein?
I'll say something that might shock you. I actually would let them comment on my blog as long as the content is something not antithetical to my foundational beliefs or otherwise abhorrent.
There has to be a line drawn, and I believe Meshichism crosses that line.
Does that make me not acting in the way of a Ben Torah? If you still think so, sorry we disagree.
Yaak, let it go, the regular commentors are very thankful for your blog and your efforts. So we disagree on a couple of things, like this is a new thing Yaak? :-)
Did you get a chance to read the latest post on Jewish End of Day's. It's about Esav and July 4.
Also Israel Matzav has some posts relating on how quickly the world is turning on us. Not that the client regime is helping either.
This is why I think we should not waste energy on the comments you deleted. We need to wake up, has the clock almost run out for us to get back home is the question here. Life and death situation to descent upon us.
