Dov Bear , mby and mbd don't have timetables Shmitah years or Yovels . I agree with the above, but this time it is b'itah. 5775 and 5776 are really the first bonafide keitzim after Mincha Gedolah, and as we mentioned at the time, the keitz after Mincha Gedolah is the keitz b'itah. There is nothing Achishena about 5775, the first Shmittah year after Mincha Gedolah. So it won't be delayed again.
The 50th gate calculation for the reunification of Yerushalayim is also not happening in a vacuum. In the same year as the 6 Day War, the Western world, Malkut Edom, experienced a massive timtum of the civilization through the Summer of Love in 1967. So at the same time that we have been rebuilding Yerushalayim, Malkhut Edom has been descending toward Mem tet Sha'arei Tumah. The Mem Tet year is 5775, the Shmittah year. (Remember even though the Summer of Love and the 6 Day War occurred in the summer of 5727, 5727 was a Motzei Shmittah year, and 5775 is the 7th Shmittah year since the 6 Day War/ Summer of Love.)
