It is very much possible, that SOME (not all) things, this boy says, were indeed shown to him in the Heaven. But also surely he appears to be very much confused about the proper INTERPRETATION of these visions. One of the key revelations made by this boy was that the War of Gog-Magog would have duration of only TWO WEEKS.
And already today we have a proof that it was not a correct prediction. Much more then two weeks have passed since then and not only this war has not finished, it has not really started in its full force yet. Should we discard the entire message by this boy or at least his information about the duration of this war being "two weeks" ?
I think, not nesseserily !
A possible alternative interpretation could be based on Gmara in Massechet Sanhedrin pages 96-97 (if I remember correctly). There our Sages are citing the famous Baraita about the "WEEK" when Mashiach Ben David will be comming. שבועה שבן דוד בא. In this context the word שבועה does not mean the usial "week" of seven days, but rather a generalized concept of a "Week" meaning just some SEVEN entities, amounts of time, in this particular context referring to a period of SEVEN YEARS and not to its usial meaning of just seven days. This interpetations is based on the root of the Holy Tongue word for a "week" שבועה being "seven" שבעה.
Based on this introduction, we could argue that this boy's vision of "TWO WEEKS" could be referring in reality to TWO SETS OF SEVEN YEARS, to the 14 years being the duration of the War of Gog-Magog which had just started on Rosh haShana 5776.
Oh my God! I'm scared!,, so, if we increase our mitzvote now, are we doing out of fear of our families being harmed during this war - or punishment from Hashem.? What's the difference between fear of punishment and fear of Heaven? Is there a translation for the remainder of this interview? thanks.
David,
Re: שבוע שבן דוד בא, the only possible interpretation is a 7-year period, whereas here, the boy said 2 weeks - it's very strange to say that the boy didn't see that clearly.
I believe that he meant Gog Umagog on Israeli soil will last 2 weeks, even though the war started כז אלול for the non-Jews.
Lisa,
Halevai we should be at the level of doing Mitzvot out of fear of punishment. Just do the Mitzvot for any reason, and מתוך שלא לשמה בא לשמה.
I believe the rest of the translation is in the works.
I think he's describing lower fear (of punishment) vs. higher fear (awe of heaven)

Yaak,
I hope we both agree that there are no real prophecy in the world yet. But there are visions, dreams, near death experiences etc. All of them are like a dream, "1/60 part of prophecy" and the dreams need interpretations, which are not always clearly revealed to the dreamer himself. This is my basis for thinking, that even if some key concepts may have been clearly seen and understood by this boy in his vision, he may not necessarily have correctly understood all their proper contexts and their relations to each other.
The part about the wings and pitchfork bothered me. These are Christian symbols.
it is troubling that people are taking this seriously. First, thee is the concept of al tiftach peh. There is no reason to verbalize negative predictions about Bnei Yisroel.
Second, there is no verification whatsoever that this boy carries a message from the tsad kedushah.
At best, it is dream and we do not give any credence to it without something more.
As was said about the autistic children, assuming that they are actually communicating, they tend to see things with a dark hue.
We have our Neviyim and recognized Tzadikim with Ruach Hakodesh. We should not stray.
I would tend to think that anyone going thru what the youth did and anyone listening to him would be more pensive and serious. Juxtapose this with for example Moishele or Binjamin at TomerDevorah, and what do we get. Plus the latest from Rav Kanievsky! Those who have the insight should be going around with a megaphone in a car shouting to all who can hear, what is coming from Shomayim to warn the people. This is not being taken seriously enough. Not necessarily every minute detail, but the fact we are being warned!
Sorry, It seems the "latest" from Rav Kanievsky has been removed from TomerDevorah. Must be a good reason.
Because of a filter on the computer, I'm not able to see videos. Could a transcript be provided of the english subtitles? Thanks in advance.
A transcript of the english subtitles involves a lot of work Anonymous, unless you can get it from the video producer.
Neshama, remember he's 15, he's a kid, he is not seeing this thru our eyes. We can't expect him to be reacting any other way.
And as for the pitchfork..... I have no idea, but the Christians took most of their religion from Judaism so who knows.
Here is a link for the transcript
